Research: 54% of media tech companies report revenue loss

Eighty-two per cent of media-tech companies have reported an impact on the ability to create new content since lockdown began, with nearly 75 per cent having to change their focus or pivot, and over half (54 per cent) recording a loss of revenue, despite the surge in consumer consumption during the same period. That’s according to research from Supernode, a global community that connects media technology startups, enterprise, and investors, which spoke to over 500 professionals within the media-tech industry.
