French AI startup Inevitable seeks €10m funding
April 27, 2026
From Pascale Paoli-Lebailly in Paris
Inevitable, the French AI startup founded in 2025 by MAD Films and King of Cool producer Jean Mach, has signed a number of production deals for AI-made films and series. Production will commence after the Cannes Film Festival and take place over the coming months.
The company is also looking to close a €10 million fund raising in the very short term, especially among tech investors. Inevitable has developed in-house software promising to help produce a 100 minute (or less) “blockbuster” within four months for just $250,000. To position itself as a major player in the use of AI for content creation, it is currently seeking to recruit additional high-end AI experts.
Inevitable, which will promote its technology in May at innovation market Cannes Next, will show demo-reels from the first two films already planned for starting production in May. First up is Naaru, an animated sci-fi film for Yansurah Productions and from artist and painter Patrick Murciano. The second is Synch, a 90 minutes live-action blockbuster from director Stéphane Juffet.
Conceived as a “ten times cheaper Transformers-esque movie,” Synch will serve as a key marketing proponent for Inevitable.
The startup will also produce AI images for two TV series for French producer SeekAtlan (Eric Atlan): one of 6 x 52’ and another of 4×52’.
Additional upcoming projects also include the production of live-action sci-fi film Resilient for US company MonteCristo International; and Kwame and the Vibrations, an animated film for Proplyd Productions (Paris), described as “Spirited Away meets Black Panther”.
Inevitable works with several France-based studios for the animation preview but produces the AI images into its own Paris-located offices.
