Discovery and LG Electronics have announced that discovery+ streaming service is now available on LG Smart TVs in Europe, including LG’s line-up of LG OLED TVs and LG QNED MiniLED TVs.
The partnership further expands the reach of discovery+ broad portfolio of unscripted stories in Europe, stretching across the UK, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark.
Following a successful launch in the US and Canada, first LG customers in Europe will now have direct access to discovery+ series and exclusive originals across genres including Documentaries, Reality, Paranormal, True crime & Sport. LG Smart TV owners can now access discovery+ on the TV’s webOS platform by opening the discovery+ app using their remote or, when available, by saying “discovery plus” directly into their LG Magic Remote.
discovery+ is available in Europe starting at £3.99/€4.99 per month for the Entertainment Pass and £6.99/€6.99 per month for the Entertainment and Sport Pass. The cost for an annual subscription is respectively £39.99/€49.99 and £59.99/€69.99.
