Freeview Play for Philips 4K Smart TVs

TP-Vision – brand licensee for the design, manufacturing and marketing of Philips TVs – has confirmed that the company’s new 6162 and 6262 2017 range of Philips Smart TVs will be the first Philips sets to feature the Freeview Play service in the UK.
Freeview Play combines catch-up, on-demand services and live television together in one place. The subscription-free TV service offer offers viewers 70 digital TV channels plus 15 in HD as well as an enhanced EPG allowing viewers to access catch-up programming from BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, All 4, Demand 5 and UKTV Play by scrolling back through the TV guide. The addition of the Freeview Play service will allow TP Vision to offer the full range of catch-up services on these new ranges of Philips Smart TVs in the UK.
