Portugal: Benfica FC launches OTT service

Portuguese football team Benfica has become the first club in the country to launch an OTT subscription service.
The streaming service, branded Benfica Play and built by Insys Video Technologies, offesrs exclusive interviews with the Primeira Liga club’s current and ex players, as well as behind-the-scenes content from matchdays and training sessions.
Club members will be able to watch Benfica Play for €1.99 per month, while non-members will have to pay €2.99. The platform will be available via the club’s digital platforms, including their website and via iOS and Android apps.
