Hulu cuts price
January 24, 2019
Hulu, the US SVoD service, has announced that it will lower the price of its ad-supported subscription plan to $5.99 (€5.28) per month – down from the current $7.99 – from February 26th.
The $11.99-per-month “ad-free” plan will stay at its current price, as will the $12.99 Hulu/Spotify combo subscription, which Spotify handles billing for.
The price drop comes a week after rival Netflix announced it will be increasing its own subscription fees.
Hulu is, however, increasing the cost of its Hulu with Live TV service, which is rising to $44.99 from the current $39.99.
