4K and Lineker for BT Sport

BT Sport is set to unveil an Ultra HD service on June 9th.
BT Sport will also confirm Gary Lineker as the anchor for BT’s coverage of UEFA’s Champions League football. BT Sport has the exclusive TV rights to the matches, and also to UEFA’s Europe League, from the 2015-16 season for three years.
For the upcoming Premier League season, BT Sport holds exclusive rights to 42 live games
BT Sport is also understood to be unveiling their latest set-top box, which is a fully functioning 4K unit. An increasing amount of BT Sport programming is available in 4K, notably material from Red Bull Media House.
