CompleteTV acquires CIMA

CompleteTV, a UK company developing innovative set top technology for new generation Over-the-Top IPTV services, has announced the acquisition of the IPR and assets of CIMA Technologies. As an IPTV set top box developer, CIMA has been focused on both the IPTV and hospitality markets. CIMA has developed some highly competitive technology with its Elegance and Industria set top products and supporting software in the area of IPTV integrated web browsing and Adobe Flash Player user interfaces. The CIMA development team in China will enable CompleteTV to accelerate its Over-the-Top development plans and also ensure the company can achieve a greater number of custom developments for new and existing customers.
