ShortsTV expands in India
September 25, 2019
ShortsTV, the British short film company, has signed with India’s major DTH providers – Dish TV, d2h and Airtel Digital. It triples their reach in India to 60 million households. The deals follow the success of their launch on India’s Tata Sky service last year.
The service is now available through 85 per cent of India’s satellite TV market.
ShortsTV is intending to boost its production of Indian content in a country which has a very large smartphone market, with young people increasingly using their mobile phone as the primary device for entertainment.
