Vevo, the music video network, has announced its “evolved approach” at the 2026 Upfront season, introducing a strategy centered on high-impact offerings that it says reflect the growing demand for more tailored brand solutions. As marketer needs continue to shift, Vevo is expanding its offering with products such as ‘Artist Franchise’ and ‘Attention Guaranteed,’ within the Vevo Evolve suite.
These offerings are complemented by flexible access to Vevo’s scaled inventory, which continues to outperform CTV benchmarks around KPIs, including brand lift and attention, according to measurement specialists DISQO, iSpot and Adelaide.
Artist Franchise
A key pillar of Vevo’s Upfront strategy is its Artist Franchise offering, which enables brands to align with culturally relevant artists through premieres and catalogue videos, original content and exclusive moments. Since its launch, the programme has seen significant momentum with the number of sold Artist Franchises more than tripling year-over-year, underscoring the value of aligning with artist-led cultural moments.
“Artists are central to how audiences connect with culture today, and our Artist Franchise product creates meaningful ways for brands to show up alongside them,” commented Melissa Sofo, VP, US Sales, Vevo. “Through Artist Franchise, brands can align with artists both during a culturally relevant moment – and beyond, driving deeper connections with loyal fanbases, sustained engagement, and continued audience growth.”
Innovation and Data-Powered Targeting, Optimisation and Measurement
Vevo recently introduced Vevo Evolve, its suite of data-driven solutions designed to enhance targeting, optimization, and measurement across its entire network. Building upon this suite, Vevo has advanced its audience creation capabilities, allowing for faster ideation and testing of new advanced audiences, as well as improved models for reach and frequency. Earlier this year, Vevo also launched Attention Guaranteed, a capability designed to help brands understand not only who saw their campaigns, but how audiences engaged with them.
Strategic Partnership With YouTube
As a key partner with YouTube, Vevo is one of the select publishers participating in YouTube’s Instant Reserve programme, enabling advertisers to access premium music video inventory, while counting their investments toward broader YouTube commitments. This dual attribution model seeks to provide brands with greater flexibility and efficiency in planning and scaling campaigns.
“Upfront conversations are evolving as brands look for more flexibility, better performance, and deeper cultural relevance in how they show up,” added Rob Christensen, EVP, Global Sales, Vevo. “Our approach starts with premium, culture-driving environments like Artist Franchise and Vevo Evolve, and extends to flexible solutions like Instant Reserve within YouTube – ensuring we can meet partners wherever they are in their buying journey. It’s about giving partners the ability to move seamlessly between premium, scaled media, and bespoke programmes that drive real connection.”
