Taskmaster Season 19 on Channel 4 in May
April 16, 2025
Taskmaster is set to return with a brand-new 19th season at 9pm on May 1st on Channel 4.
The new series sees five valiant comedy minds step up to the task in search of glory. They are: comedian and writer Fatiha El-Ghorri (Live at the Apollo, BBC), American comedian, actor and podcaster Jason Mantzoukas (Big Mouth, Netflix), actor and writer Mathew Baynton (Ghosts, BBC One), podcaster and broadcaster Rosie Ramsey (Shagged. Married. Annoyed), and comedian, actor and podcaster Stevie Martin (Starstruck, BBC/HBO Max). All of them will approach the series with hope in their hearts, while one will dance away pretending to be humble in the face of their truly incredible victory.
Little Alex Horne has polished and preened another version of Taskmaster Greg Davies’s regal head cast in pure gold in readiness for a brand-new series, while Greg Davies is, as usual, at the centre of it all, administering points and astute feedback as he welcomes five new comics into his world of misrule.
Taskmaster is one of the youngest skewing shows on Channel 4, with nearly a quarter of its audience last year aged 16-34, across both linear and streaming. Across 2024 Taskmaster was in the top 5 most streamed shows on Channel 4, for all individuals.
