Insight TV expands distribution in Russia & CIS with Tricolor

In a move that will significantly expand its distribution footprint in Russia and CIS markets, Insight TV has signed a distribution deal with Tricolor multi-platform operator, Russia’s largest DTH operator. Insight TV’s HD feed is now available on Tricolor’s DTH platform, as well as on the Tricolor Kino and TV application for OTT customers.
“Being the pioneer of UHD broadcasting in Russia, Tricolor was the first platform to launch Insight TV UHD in October 2015,” said Adina Gorita, Distribution Manager, Insight TV. “Now, we are particularly excited to have the opportunity to expand our relationship with them to include our HD feed as well, which is available to over 15 million subscribers.”
Insight TV’s UHD and HD feeds are fully localised and available to all TV platforms in the region.
Insight TV is working with St Petersburg-based TV company First HDTV to expand the distribution of its UHD and HD channels in Russia and CIS.
