August 29, 2019
From David Del Valle in Madrid
Vodafone Spain is reportedly seeking to sell its FTTH network to finance its operations in the country, accoridng to Expansion.
The company would be looking at bids from investment funds and major operators for its network, which has a market value of around €1.2 billion.
The move aims to refinance the company at a time when Vodafone is losing customers due to the football pay-TV war, and the evidence that low cost convergent services are driving monthly fees down.
