Mediapro: 79% of revenues from international TV market

Spain’s Mediapro has seen its international TV business grow, with 79 per cent of revenues now coming from abroad. The company ended 2018 with €1.96 million revenues, up 20 per cent on the previous year, and an EBITDA of €222 million.
With an investment of €69 million, Mediapro has acquired TV rights to French Ligue 1 and 2 football, the Qatar World Cup and the Canadian League and is expanding into eSports sector worldwide. The company says its current main goals are expanding into LatAm, consolidating its position in Asia and boosting the creation of TV content around the world with its new Mediapro Studio.
Mediapro is present in 36 countries with 58 offices.
