Viaplay brings AwesomenessTV to Nordics
June 16, 2017
Awesomeness TV is set to launch in the Nordic market following a deal with MTG-owned SVoD service Viaplay.
US-based AwesomenessTV, which is backed by Comcast, NBCUniversal, Verizon and Hearst, will see its youth-orientated content aired in the Nordics for the first time as part of the deal.
“We are thrilled to partner with Viaplay to continue to bring our series to fans around the world,” said Zachary Slatter, head of European distribution, Awesomeness TV. “We are excited about the demand for teen and young adult programming and are eager to explore strategic opportunities with Viaplay to better serve this demographic.”
