SPI International / Filmbox is launching its movie channel FilmBox Premium HD in the Czech Republic and Slovakia extending the current HD channel portfolio in the two markets to a total of nine HD channels.

UPC, the biggest cable operator in the Czech republic, already confirmed adding the new HD channel to the FilmBox premium line up which already features FilmBox Extra HD as well as other Filmbox channels. Filmbox Premium HD will be successively added to other operators’ networks.

In addition to linear distribution, FilmBox Premium HD will be available on FilmBox Live, a multi screen VoD platform which offers access to all FilmBox brand channels and a huge on demand library.
