Harmonic partner for cable access

Advanced Television talks to Peter Alexander, SVP, CMO at Harmonic about the deal with WISI of Germany that sees WISI OEM Harmonic’s Digital Access Architecture switching from fibre deep in the network for coax distribution in multiple dwellings. The idea is to take a ‘micro headend’ as close to the subscriber as possible increasing efficiency and user experience and decreasing cost.
