YouTube adds 4K search
March 19, 2015
An update to Google’s video service YouTube has added the option to search for 4K resolution videos on both the online site and Android app.
YouTube has supported 4K videos for some time, but this is the first time that users have been given the option to set search filters to include 4K videos – thus making finding ultra-HD content that much easier when doing searches for specific content.
The 10.10 update is in the midst of being rolled out to all YouTube users.
