Multiplay brings ARRIS advanced STB to Brazil
August 7, 2014
Pay-TV provider Multiplay is the first to certify the ARRIS Group DCX525e and is now able to offer this advanced set-top to its subscribers in Brazil.
The new DCX525e supports HD video, digital sound, on-demand and interactive services, and features a software-programmable capability to be converted to an IP set-top in the future.
“Our subscribers want to enjoy a high-quality video experience, on their terms,” said Fernando Augusto Pereira, Director of Engineering, Multiplay. “The DCX525e makes that possible, giving our subscribers a choice of on-demand and interactive services. And in the future, as more IP video content becomes available, the technology will evolve to support these advanced experiences.”
