Canal+ has joined the growing ranks of broadcasters ramping up their OTT operations by appointing Manuel Alduy – currently Director of Cinema for the Canal+ Group – as Director of Canal OTT, a new division in the group with responsibility for mobile and personalised offers. In this role, he will be responsible for web, mobile and personalised content, both in France and abroad.
In particular, he will be responsible for pay-OTT offers and developing the group’s multi-channel network (MCN) on the Web.
He reports to Alice Holzman and Maxime Saada. Canal OTT brings together a number of units under one leadership: New Media, headed by Fabienne Fourquet, CanalPlay under Patrick Holzman and Canal+ International, managed by Jean-Marc Juramie. The new division will also rely on the Digital Experience unit headed by Lucas Serralta.
Nathalie Coste Cerdanis is the new Director of Cinema, taking on Alduy’s previous responsibilities. She reports to Maxime Saada.
