Vodafone Netherlands offers triple-play on fibre
August 15, 2011
Vodafone Netherlands plans to offer television services from Reggefiber’s and KPN’s fiber network, reports Het Financieele Dagblad.
The television offering will be launched in nine municipalities where Reggefiber is looking to still roll out fibre. The offering will then become available in all homes served by fibre. From 2012, the services will be available for DSL customers.
The package, named Vodafone Home Internet, Phone & TV, is available with three internet speeds: 30, 50 and 100 Mbps, priced at €49.95, €59.95, and €74.95 respectively. The basic package has more than sixty television channels, including twenty in full HD quality. There will also be interactive services such as catch-up TV and VoD. Consumers will also get analogue TV, so that they are able to watch TV on all the TV sets in the house. Vodafone Netherlands will offer its services first in Barneveld, Beuningen, Emmer-Compascuum, Groesbeek, Groot Salland, Leudal, Millingen aan de Rijn, Nuth and Zevenaar.
