Star bid for Tele Columbus

The FT in Germany has reported that the UK’s Star Capital is looking to bid for German cable operator Tele Columbus.
Star already owns German cable operator Pepcom and is said to be in negotiations to buy Tele Columbus. Tele Columbus serves 2.1 million households in eastern Germany, North Rhine-Westphalia and Hesse. Pepcom has about 630,000 subscribers.
Tele Columbus is currently owned by US-based investors who invested €435 million.
