ThinkAnalytics AI recommendations for Watcho OTT

ThinkAnalytics, a specialist in video content discovery and persaonalisation, has announced that Dish TV India has chosen ThinkMediaAI to provide personalised recommendations across its Watcho OTT platform. ThinkAnalytics’ ThinkMediaAI product suite includes personalised content discovery, search, editorial curation, UX orchestration, A/B testing and business insights.

ThinkAnalytics will provide search and personalised content discovery across more than 24 OTT apps on Watcho’s OTT aggregation platform as well as live TV. Dish TV will take advantage of ThinkMediaAI’s scalability to meet the requirements of millions of paying subscribers as well as supporting 12 different languages.

Using ThinkMediaAI’s real-time profiling and UI with rail positioning and trending content tailored to the user, Watcho viewers will have a personalised user experience across every device. At the same time, the editorial and curation team will have improved decision making based on new insights and intelligence about viewing behaviour trends and content investments. They will also be able to increase efficiencies with A/B testing and automation tools that optimise editorial workflows and accelerate time-to-market for new content and campaigns while minimising dependency on engineering resources.
