Vodafone Spain, MTV partner for gaming shows
September 28, 2018
From David Del Valle in Madrid
Vodafone Spain and MTV have teamed up to launch two new TV programmes aimed at gamers that will combine music, entertainment, fashion, urban art and video games.
The programmes, entitled +QGamers and MGZ!, will air exclusively on MTV, the first from Mondays to Fridays at 8:30pm and the second on Thursdays at 10:30pm. Both shows will be fronted by video game enthusiast Maya Pixelskaya.
Vodafone and MTV already worked together with the launch in 2016 of Gamers, a reality TV series about an eSports team.
With this new move, Vodafone aims to strengthen its position in eSports and video games, along with additional support from its gaming channels on YouTube and Twitch.
