Royal Ascot 2026 reaches 30 networks across 180 territories
June 12, 2026
Royal Ascot, taking place from June 16th to June 20th, will be broadcast across 180 territories via 30 networks in its most comprehensive year of linear and digital coverage to date, delivered by HBA Media on behalf of Ascot Racecourse.
Australia’s Channel 7 headlines the list of new broadcasters with the Enhanced World Feed available across linear and digital for all five days of the Royal Meeting. New deals have also been struck with SPOTV and TVRI across Southeast Asia, and longstanding relationships in the Middle East ensure Dubai Media and Abu Dhabi Media bring the event to one of the sport’s most passionate and engaged audiences.
Distribution Details:
ITV Racing will present their coverage live from Ascot Racecourse in daily five-hour programmes, with Sky Sports Racing and Virgin Media supplementing the UK and Irish audience offering.
In the US, NBC will broadcast the Royal Ascot with an on-course presence and talent team across five days of coverage, available both on the network and streaming service Peacock as an avid US fanbase follow Wesley Ward’s seven-strong squad in search of what would be a 13th victory at the meeting.
Meanwhile, fans in 49 territories across Latin America and the Caribbean can catch the action via ESPN and Disney+ whilst CBC (Canada), the national public service broadcaster, joins the Royal Ascot broadcast portfolio for the first time, delivering the full World Feed daily and significantly enhancing the event’s visibility among the Canadian audience.
Another notable new acquisition is the aforementioned Channel 7 – Australia’s principal free-to-air broadcaster – who will deliver all five days of Royal Ascot to over 17 million homes in a significant new broadcast for the Royal Meeting – extending the event’s reach into an established racing nation. In addition, Australian broadcaster Tabcorp and Entain’s New Zealand arm will also be on the ground at Ascot, reflecting the strength of the international field and the two nations’ deep shared racing heritage.
European coverage is provided by Rai (Italy), Polsat (Poland), Viaplay (Scandinavia, the Netherlands), WeDo Sport (Germany, Switzerland, Austria), Setanta (Balkans and Eurasia), Silknet (Georgia), D-Smart (Turkey) and CYTA (Cyprus).
Across the Asia-Pacific region, a new deal with SPOTV will bring the Royal Meeting to 14 territories in Southeast Asia, while TVRI will deliver free-to-air coverage to Indonesian audiences, reaching an estimated 80 per cent of the country’s households. WeDo Asia will extend its reach into India and Israel for the first time, whilst Netkeiba will service the Japanese audience through an innovative YouTube partnership, as Satono Reve returns for a second crack at the QEII Jubilee Stakes, following a close runner-up finish in 2025.
In the Middle East, HBA Media’s specialist regional relationships come to the fore, with Dubai Media (DMI), Abu Dhabi Media (Yas TV) and Charlton (Israel) continuing to serve multiple territories across the region, ensuring Royal Ascot reaches one of the sport’s most passionate and engaged audiences.
Globally, Sport24 and Anuvu will ensure Royal Ascot will be available live in the skies and seas onboard various airlines and cruise ships worldwide.
Tom Johnson, Ascot Racecourse’s Commercial Director, commented: “Royal Ascot continues to go from strength to strength as a global sporting and cultural occasion, and our 2026 broadcast distribution reflects that reach. The addition of new platforms and expanded on-site international broadcast presence ensures that the Royal Meeting is more accessible and relevant than ever to audiences worldwide. With a strong international challenge once again expected on the track, we are set for a compelling week of racing that reinforces Royal Ascot’s position as an unmissable event in the global sporting calendar.”
Frank Sale, Chief Executive of HBA Media, added: “We are proud to partner with Ascot Racecourse in delivering what is truly a worldwide broadcast operation. From our longstanding relationships in the Middle East with Dubai Media International and Abu Dhabi Media, to exciting new partnerships across Europe, Asia and Indonesia, Royal Ascot continues to reach a diverse global audience. The strength of the international field, with leading contenders travelling from France, Japan, Australia and the Americas, makes this a genuinely global sporting event, and it is our privilege to ensure that story is told to audiences in every corner of the world.”
