Stingray partners with Mondia
October 29, 2025
Stingray, a specialist in music and video content distribution, has announced that its mobile applications – Stingray Music, Stingray Karaoke, Qello Concerts, and Calm Radio – are now available for distribution through mobile carriers worldwide. Mobile subscribers of major operators in Germany and Romania can now sign up for Stingray services directly through their mobile providers. This expansion is made possible through a partnership with Mondia, a player in digital distribution and mobile commerce.
Through this partnership, Mondia enables convenient payment solutions such as direct carrier billing and also drives user acquisition, engagement, and monetisation by connecting Stingray’s content to millions of mobile subscribers worldwide.
“We are thrilled about the innovative business model we’ve established with Mondia,” said David Purdy, Chief Revenue Officer of Stingray. “This partnership enables us to reach a broader audience more efficiently, reinforcing our commitment to delivering exceptional musical experiences to our users.”
“This collaboration is a testament to the power of digital distribution through mobile operators,” added Paolo Rizzardini, Chief Commercial Officer at Mondia. “By leveraging our strong telco partnerships, we’re not only enabling seamless payments but also unlocking new revenue streams and expanding access to premium entertainment. We’re excited to partner with Stingray to bring high-quality music and concert experiences to new audiences globally.”
Qello Concerts and Stingray Music are now available for subscription through Mondia’s operator networks in Germany and Romania, with an extensive roadmap of launches lined up ahead.
