Belgium: Telenet upgrades TV experience
October 10, 2025

Telenet TV customers in Belgium can now access a renewed TV menu that brings all sources of entertainment together in one overview: from live TV to streaming apps and local content.
In the new menu, viewers will have a new ‘For You’ landing page with personalised recommendations based on their preferences and can subscribe to streaming apps without leaving the TV environment. Telenet also reinforces its commitment to local programming with the ‘Best of Belgium’ page, offering a clear gateway to Belgians entertainment.
In the new Discover menu, TV and Streaming apps such as GoPlay, Streamz and Disney+ are all brought together in one convenient overview, so viewers no longer have to switch between apps or devices. With the Watchlist feature, viewers can save films and series across all their apps and channels.
Furthermore, customers can manage their streaming services via the Shop page, where they can activate or deactivate streaming subscriptions, or add new services to their Telenet bill in one click without the hassle of juggling different logins and payments. The familiar TV Guide and Recordings remain available in the menu.
“At a time when the selection of films, series and shows is overwhelming and discovering content can be time-consuming, Telenet aims to make a difference by helping viewers quickly find what truly suits them. Research shows that viewers want to compose their viewing experience cross-medially: they search less per app or channel,” said Telenet.
“That is why we are evolving from a silo discovery experience to a combined and personalised offering in which TV and Streaming are brought together in one overview. The new menu of the Telenet TV-box acts as a personal guide in the growing and fragmented entertainment offering. So instead of hopping between apps or channels, viewers can see what is available, presented in one convenient overview. At Telenet we believe the TV viewers’ time should go into watching and not into scrolling or searching,” added the company.
