Mediaset’s new OTT platform, Mitele Plus, which streams live La Liga matches, saw its debut turn to fiasco with many subscribers taking to social media to accuse the service of fraud under the hashtag #MiTelePlusEstafa.

The service experienced numerous transmission cuts and was not available at all on LG and Samsung Smart TVs  contrary to launch announcements. Streams were also reported to be widely delayed (up to 5 minutes behind real time) and constantly lagging.

Many subscribers reported that their complaints were completely ignored, or not attended to until after much delay.
