Netflix, WWE Studios collaboration

WWE Studios, the US film studio owned by the professional wrestling corporation WWE, has reportedly agreed a deal wth Netflix to release its content on the streaming platform.
The upcoming projects will be geared towards family audiences and the first movie, The Main Event, will commence production this summer. As well as Hollywood talent, the movie is set to feature cameos from WWE Superstars John Cena (pictured), Bray Wyatt and The Miz.
WWE Studios formed in 2002. The studio has released some 55 movies, with another dozen currently in development.
