November 13, 2017
From David Del Valle in Madrid
The Basque Country cable operator Euskaltel has signed an agreement with the streaming giant Netflix to make its content available to all its subscribers, as well as those who subscribe to R in Galicia and Telecable in Asturias, through its 4K STB.
Euskaltel will be the first TV operator in Spain to offer a Netflix button on the TV remote control enabling users to have access to the streaming service with just one click.
Euskaltel, R and Telecable are the leading providers of streaming content in Spain in terms of transmission quality, according to Netflix ranking, some way ahead of Telefónica – the worst according to Netflix.
