Sky+ adds Auto Play, Catch Up Series Link
November 1, 2016
Sky+ has added new features making it easier for customers to catch up on their desired content. Introducing Auto Play and Catch Up Series Link, customers can now binge watch a show they’ve newly become addicted to, or series link their favourite Catch Up TV series so it’s ready in their Planner.
The new features as part of the update include:
- Auto Play: Watch one episode after another effortlessly. Now when customers get to the end of an episode, the next one will automatically start to play provided it’s already downloaded to their Planner. Or simply press the green button at any point during an episode to watch the next episode immediately.
- Catch Up Series Link: Now customers can easily set a series link on a Catch Up TV programme. Go to the Catch Up TV section or a Catch Up show that’s been downloaded to the Planner and press the green button to ‘Series Link’. This will record future episodes of the show so customers never miss their favourite programme again.
Luke Bradley-Jones, Director of TV and content products, commented: “We know our customers love the freedom to easily watch episode after episode of their favourite TV shows, which is why we continue to invest in new features for Sky+. So whether it’s binge watching addictively good box sets like Billions and The Blacklist, or catching up on your favourite series, including Ray Donovan or A League Of Their Own, Auto Play and Catch Up Series Link give customers the flexibility to watch their favourite shows the way they want.”
