Premium entertainment network EPIX is launching its EPIX app on Google Chromecast, the latest step in its continued leadership in the expansion of TV Everywhere. EPIX was the first premium network to launch on XBOX 360, PlayStation, iOS, Android tablets, Windows 8.1 and Roku players.
Authenticated subscribers will have streaming access to EPIX’s unmatched, on-demand mix of over 3,000 movies including major Hollywood franchises The Hunger Games, James Bond, and Star Trek plus original programming including The Road to the NHL Winter Classic and The Road To The NHL Stadium Series; Russell Brand: Messiah Complex; and Hollywood Sessions, co-produced with the Los Angeles Times.
“The marrying of EPIX premium entertainment with Chromecast’s easy-to-use device offers a unique and unparalleled experience. With this partnership, we’re continuing to build on our momentum of delivering great programming how, when and where viewers want to see it,” said Keary Hanan, EPIX SVP Digital Programming and Production.
