On-Demand viewing just 1.7 minutes a day

IHS says that one of the major myths still casting a shadow over the TV industry is that viewing is largely moving over to non-linear forms, “with users increasingly time-shifting using PVRs and on-demand services on the set-top box and online”. However, according to an IHS report, the actual numbers show this anxiety to be largely unwarranted, and where there is on-demand activity it leans towards network linear transmissions.
