Loft London further expands in Russia
October 7, 2013
Loft London, a global digital media hub, further expands its services into the Russian region by agreeing an exclusive contract with Moscow based Central Partnership to provide content processing services.
Central Partnership owns the largest media library in Russia comprising over 1,400 features and 4,000 hours of TV series and distribute theatrical and TV rights to the region. Central Partnership is also the exclusive distributor of Paramount Pictures and Summit Entertainment in Russia.
The agreement, effective from October 2013, will entail Loft London’s Chiswick facility to become Central Partnerships Western Europe’s media hub which will provide a multi-format encoding platform aligned with a file based QC and approval workflow with a distribution network for Central Partnerships new acquisitions. Central Partnership will be able to monitor, browse, manage and exploit all content once it arrives at Loft London’s facility by using Loft London’s geographical agnostic Cubix platform. The Cubix platform, developed by Loft London’s sister company Loft London Solutions, is an end to end workflow platform which enables content owners to remotely access their content stored at Loft London.
