Sony’s PlayStation 3 3D Display bundle is now available to purchase in the UK. The package includes a 24-inch 1080p, 240Hz HD screen with two pairs of active shutter 3D glasses, along with the games Killzone 3 and Gran Turismo 5.
The PS3 3D Display offers a 5,000:1 contrast ratio, 176-degree viewing angle, two HDMI inputs and a component input. SimulView technology, which works by splitting feeds for two different viewpoints, will facilitate multiplayer gaming without the need for split-screen.
Sony’s latest accessory has already attracted strong sales, with online retailer Amazon reporting that it has sold out of its initial stock. The bundle is priced at £449.
