Netflix agrees Orange Spain deal
October 27, 2016
From David Del Valle in Madrid
Orange Spain and Netflix have signed an agreement whereby the platform’s subscribers will be able to have access to the streaming service for free over the next three months.
The deal takes place shortly after a similar agreement with Vodafone came to an end which saw Vodafone’s subscribers access Netflix for free for six months on condition they hired certain packages. Vodafone has recently announced a deal with HBO.
Under the terms of the promotion, those customers with the Orange TV Cine y Series package (with a monthly fee of €7.95) will be able to watch Netflix TV content for free for three months and at €9.99 a month as a regular price when the promotion comes to an end.
Orange Spain currently reaches 458,000 subscribers.
