Cresswell departs Arqiva
June 12, 2015
By Chris Forrester
It seems like it is all change at UK broadcast and media facilities specialist Arqiva again as CEO John Cresswell steps down. Cresswell, who was ITV’s COO until he joined Arqiva in 2011, leaves the business in good shape, but there has certainly been some important management changes during his time at the company.
For example, Nick Thompson, who had run the company’s satellite division and was a strong contender for the CEO’s position, left shortly after Creswell’s arrival. New man in that division, David Crawford, has continued building up business. It has won significant contracts from Turner Broadcasting in the Far East and elsewhere.
Creswell stays in the post until August.
