France: M6+ app launches on ChatGPT Store

April 30, 2026

Groupe M6 and OpenAI have announced a partnership to launch the M6+ application on the ChatGPT Store. This initiative marks the first time a streaming platform in France has been integrated directly into a conversational AI ecosystem.

At the core of this collaboration is M6+, the free streaming service operated by Groupe M6 which aggregates content from the group’s broadcast channels – including M6, W9, 6ter, Gulli, Paris Première, and Téva – while also offering thousands of hours of on-demand programming.

The integration of M6+ into ChatGPT introduces a new user experience: content discovery through natural language conversation. Instead of navigating traditional menus or relying on algorithmic rows, users can now simply express their preferences—moods, genres, actors, or themes—in everyday language. The AI then interprets these inputs and surfaces tailored recommendations, enabling immediate access to relevant programmes.

David Larramendy, Chairman of the Executive Board of Groupe M6, commented: “Transforming search into conversation brings every desire closer to the right programme. This is a completely new approach – a first in France for a streaming platform – fully aligned with our Group’s transformation strategy, serving both user experience and content visibility.”
