maxdome adds Sony content
April 14, 2015
German VoD service maxdome has signed an agreement with Sony Pictures Television for the digital rights to more than 700 TV series and movies.
The deal will see around 130 movies and TV series from the studio being added each year to the maxdome package. Titles include Tarantino movie Django Unchained and TV series The Big C and Tudors.
Some of the titles that maxdome acquired are for its online store. They will be available on demand and for immediate purchase after the movies’ broadcast in cinemas and some time before the DVD is released.
