Apple and Samsung, a truce?

Two of the most litigious corporations on the planet look like cutting back on their lawyer’s bills. South Korea’s Samsung and the USA’s Apple are reportedly getting tired of the near-constant – and hugely expensive – patent battles.
The Korea Times is saying that the pair are seeking to reach “common ground” so that they can end the current battles and fight out their differences in the market place through product innovation.
The newspaper says that in many respects the two businesses are interdependent on one another, with Samsung supplying components for Apple’s new iWatch product. Recent weeks have seen the two technology giants resolve at least some of their deep-rooted disputes, and the pair see litigation as impeding the business that the two do together.
