Eutelsat will also look at HellasSat

Satellite operator Eutelsat confirmed that it is also interested in buying the HellasSat 2 craft from its Greek/Cyprus owners.
Eutelsat CEO Michel de Rosen added his company’s support for the satellite to that of arch-rival SES’s Romain Bausch who expressed a similar view last week.
De Rosen, speaking July 31st to investment analysts, made it clear that while Eutelsat’s priority is seeking organic growth it would also look at opportunistic acquisitions, such as the recent purchase of General Electric’s Asia satellite (GE23).
