At ANGA COM 2026, ruwido and Ocilion, two established Austrian technology companies, announced their close cooperation in the development of a new TV remote control for ocilion’s latest platform.
The newly developed remote control combines ocilion’s know-how in IPTV and TV solutions with ruwido’s experience in human–machine interaction. Designed to offer an intuitive, modern, and future-proof user experience, the remote is a central element of ocilion’s next-generation ecosystem.
Built on trust, proximity, and shared ambition, the cooperation between ruwido and ocilion represents a strong commitment to Austrian engineering excellence. Developed side by side, the new remote control is the result of a deeply collaborative process in which both companies contributed their full expertise – from concept and design to hardware manufacturing and software implementation.
“This partnership with ruwido allows us to bring together technological innovation and user-centric design in a very powerful way. The new remote control is a key interface to our platform, designed to make the TV experience simpler and smarter. Working closely with a partner who shares our commitment to quality and innovation has been essential to achieving this result,” says Hans Kühberger, CEO of ocilion.
“This project is a great example of what can be achieved when two companies work together in a true partnership. And with all development carried out under one roof in Neumarkt, Austria, the project reflects a shared belief that the best user experiences are created when technology, craftsmanship, and partnership come together in close collaboration, with a clear focus on quality, longevity, and intuitive interaction.”, says Ferdinand Maier, owner and CEO of ruwido.
