Premion earns Platinum status for triple TAG certification
March 6, 2025
Premion, a CTV/OTT advertising solution for regional and local advertisers, has achieved ‘TAG Platinum’ status by achieving three different certifications from TAG (Trustworthy Accountability Group), the global certification program to strengthen safety and transparency in digital advertising. The certifications included successfully recertifying for the Brand Safety Certified (BSC) Seal and the Certified Against Fraud (CAF) Seal, while earning the Certified Against Malware (CAM) Seal for the first time from TAG.
Established by the American Association of Advertising Agencies (4A’s), the Association of National Advertisers (ANA), and the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB), TAG’s seal programs have demonstrated their effectiveness in minimizing fraudulent traffic, sharing threat intelligence, protecting brand safety, and enabling transparency.
According to Premion’s 2024 CTV/OTT Advertiser Study, advertisers prioritize premium video content (89 per cent), ad fraud prevention (84 per cent), and brand safety (83 per cent) in their strategic planning, underscoring the importance of premium quality and trust in CTV campaigns.
“Brand safety has always been foundational to Premion’s platform,” said Daniel Spinosa, President of Premion. “We’ve built our business on directly sourcing inventory from premium, reputable publishers to ensure advertisers can trust the environment where their campaigns appear. Achieving TAG Platinum status reflects our unwavering commitment to delivering utmost accountability, trust and transparency for our advertisers.”
Achieving all three TAG certifications affirms Premion’s leadership in helping to raise standards for companies across the CTV industry and reinforce its commitment as a trusted, secure advertising platform in the CTV sector. From the start, Premion has prioritised brand safety and ad fraud protection by sourcing premium, brand-safe inventory and adhering to strict principles. To uphold to the highest standards, Premion also conducts independent quarterly audits, ensuring ongoing accountability in brand safety and fraud prevention.
“Premion’s achievements demonstrate its dedication to maintaining the highest standards in protecting brand safety, fighting malvertising and reducing ad fraud,” said Mike Zaneis, CEO of TAG. “Premion’s new Platinum Status demonstrates their ongoing commitment to protecting advertisers and partners and going above and beyond to adopt and lead with industry best practices. Their ongoing efforts have further strengthened trust and safety across the entire digital advertising ecosystem.”
