January 24, 2022
Disney+ has confirmed that How I Met Your Father will premiere on Disney+ on Wednesday 9 March.
The sequel sitcom, set in the near future, sees Sophie (Hilary Duff) telling her son the story of how she met his father: a story that catapults the audience back to the present where Sophie and her close-knit group of friends are in the midst of figuring out who they are, what they want out of life, and how to fall in love in the age of dating apps and limitless options.
As well as Duff, the cast includes Chris Lowell (Promising Young Woman, Private Practice, The Help), Francia Raisa (grown-ish, Bring it On, The Secret Life of the American Teenager), Kim Cattrall (Sex and the City, Filthy Rich), Tom Ainsley (Versailles, The Royals), Suraj Sharma (Life of Pi, Homeland) and Tien Tran (Candyman, Work in Progress, Hot Date).
