Tolpeit named Sunrise CFO

Andreas Tolpeit will become the new CFO and a member of the Sunrise Executive Committee as of September 1st. Tolpeit succeeds Jany Fruytier, who will leave Sunrise on August 31st following a structured transition.
Tolpeit most recently CFO of the global private schools group Cognita, where he improved the company’s financial performance and substantially increased its margins. He was also responsible for technology and innovation as well as the company’s AI strategy, and he drove the company’s digital transformation.
Before that, his roles included a period working at the Zurich-based Swiss company Jacobs Holding, where, as Head of Investments, he led the development and scaling of international platforms in dental care and education. He was responsible for developing corporate strategies, deal sourcing, due diligence, financing and the delivery of a number of international investments and transactions.
In his new role, Tolpeit will further strengthen the financial performance of Swiss teclo Sunrise and support the consistent implementation of the company’s strategy.
