WAPA+ expands to DISH, Sling, Freestream

Hemisphere Media Group, the US media company targeting the US Hispanic and Latin American markets, has announced that its FAST channel WAPA+ is now available on DISH TV and Sling TV, expanding the channel’s reach to audiences across the US. The channel is now available on Sling Freestream and will also be made available to DISH and DishLATINO customers.
With this expansion, WAPA+ is available across some of the largest free and connected TV platforms in the country, including Roku, Samsung, Amazon Fire, Plex, Xumo, ViX, Fubo and Canela,
WAPA+ offers a slate of live news, entertainment, sports and lifestyle programming from Puerto Rico, including NotiCentro newscasts such as NotiCentro América, a newscast specifically tailored to the Puerto Rican community in the US mainland, along with morning entertainment programmes such as Un Buen Día, political and news analysis from WKAQ 580 AM, hit reality franchises such as Super Chef Celebrities, Caribbean blockbusters showcased in the Cine Domirriqueño weekend movie block, as well as variety shows, comedt and fan-favourite local productions.
