Whale TV signs new TV brand partnerships; adds Boosteroid

January 6, 2026

Whale TV, the independent TV operating system, has announced new licensing partnerships with five TV brands: Aiwa, Blaupunkt, EFL, ONVO and JVC. These TV brands will start using Whale OS 10, the company’s latest-generation television operating system, for their upcoming smart TV models. Whale TV has also announced Moka as a new Whale OS 10 turnkey ODM partner, to its expanding roster of ODMs. Whale TV now works with 40+ TV brands, including Akai, Philips and RCA, who leverage Whale OS 10 for their televisions.

“Bringing these new TV brands on as licensees underscores the strong global momentum behind our platform,” said Jason He, CEO at Whale TV. “Our mission is to empower TV brands with an OS that is simple, powerful, and truly partnership-driven. With Whale OS 10, we’re delivering an experience that makes watching TV effortless for consumers while ensuring that our TV partners can grow sustainably.”

Whale TV has also announced the launch of cloud gaming service Boosteroid on its platform. Boosteroid is available on all 4K Whale TV models, including brands such as Philips, RCA, Sharp, Telefunken and JVC.

Effective immediately, owners of Whale TV-powered 4K Smart TVs across Europe, North America and South America can add the Boosteroid app to their home screen. With a Boosteroid subscription, users can dive into library of some of the world’s most popular PC games such as S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, Call of Duty, and Titan Quest 2.

To make gaming even more accessible, Whale TV users can play using a standard Bluetooth game controller or even use their smartphone as a virtual controller, removing the final barrier to entry for casual and hardcore gamers alike.

“Because of our unique OS architecture partners like Boosteroid can leverage their existing Android app to launch on Whale TV”, said Thomas Li, VP of New Business Development at Whale TV, “With the evolution of smart TV technology consumers can now play console grade games on their TV without the need for extra hardware.”

“Launching on more connected TV platforms like Whale TV promotes Boosteroid’s goal to make premium gaming available to everyone,” added Artem Skoryi, Vice President of Business Development at Boosteroid. “We are putting the power of a high-end gaming PC directly into the heart of the living room on the biggest and most immersive screen in the home.”
