August 13, 2025
MGM+ has announced the horror-thriller movie, Dangerous Animals, will make its streaming debut on the service on September 12th.
The film follows Zephyr, a savvy and free-spirited surfer, who is abducted by a shark-obsessed serial killer and held captive on his boat. From there, she must figure out how to escape before he carries out a ritualistic feeding to the sharks below.
Dangerous Animals stars Hassie Harrison (Yellowstone) and Jai Courtney (Suicide Squad), alongside Josh Heuston, Rob Carlton, Ella Newton and Liam Greinke. The film is directed by Sean Byrne, and gained significant attention after its debut at Cannes Directors Fortnight.
Dangerous Animals joins a roster of films debuting on MGM+, including the upcoming thriller 40 Acres, and catalogue classics such as Rocky and The James Bond Collection.
