June 26, 2025
The Roku Streaming Stick and Streaming Stick Plus are now available in the UK, featuring a new compact design and the latest Roku streaming technology.
Roku describes the new streaming players as being “compact without compromise”. They offer instant access to popular streaming channels as well as customer-favourite features like What to Watch, which offers a personalised selection of recommendations, and a Continue Watching row for easy access to recently viewed content.
The Roku Streaming Stick is an entry-level option providing an intuitive, streaming experience on any smart HD TV. Priced at £29.99, this streaming player introduces voice-enabled remote control, offering users another way to change the volume or power on their TV, or search for entertainment just by using their voice. The Roku Streaming Stick Plus delivers the same experience along with 4K picture quality and vivid HDR colour, priced at £39.99.
The new devices can be powered directly by the TV, eliminating the need for hanging cables, delivering a more streamlined setup. The devices are designed to avoid blockong neighbouring HDMI ports, so users can switch from streaming to gaming with ease.
