BBC News Thai goes live on TikTok

BBC News Thai has expanded its offering by launching on social-media platform TikTok.
The BBC News Thai TikTok channel features a range of content, from Thai politics and current affairs to science, history, and health – subjects that have proven to be popular among the BBC’s Thai-speaking audiences.
BBC News Thai Editor, Kriddikorn Padermkurkulpong, commented: “The @bbcnewsthai feed on TikTok delivers short, dynamic videos that we know are in high demand among our audiences and enhances our existing offer of independent journalism for Thai-speakers. Our videos have proven to be incredibly successful with tens of millions of views on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram. Our new TikTok channel helps us to reach more people and enhance the impact we can have on Thai-speaking audience.”
